This uncirculated 5 Saudi Arabian riyal banknote is part of the 1983 (AH 1379) series. It is signed by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency Governor Hamad Saud al-Sayyari and Finance Minister Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz bin Abdullah al-Assaf. It has a purple color scheme and dimensions of 145 mm x 66 mm. Its obverse side shows King Fahd and traditional boats. Its reverse side shows the national emblem and the Ras Tanoura oil refinery.
