The Afghanistan 10,000 Afghani Banknote that features the Masjid-i Jami was issued in 1993 with a dimension of 171 x 76 mm in length and width. Its obverse side features the Masjid-i Jami also known as the Friday Mosque in Herat. The bank seal with horsemen, cornucopia, and ancient coins is also added to the front design. The reverse side features the Arch of Qala-e-Bost in Lashkar Gah. The note is equipped with a Solid green security thread with the denomination written in numerical and words to enhance its security features. An image of the bank seal is also made visible under a UV light.
