The Israel 50 New Shekels Banknote was issued by the Bank of Israel in 2014. Its obverse side contains Hebrew text, an open book in gold-to-green SPARK feature, citrus trees and fruit, a portrait of the poet Shaul Tchernichovsky, and the micro print of the poem “Oh My Land, My Homeland”. Its reverse side shows the capital of the Corinthian column. Security features include a menorah registration device, a Kinegram Volume holographic stripe, a color-changing windowed security thread with demetalized 50 and the portrait of Shaul Tchernichovsky, and a watermark of Shaul Tchernichovsky with an electrotype 50. The green banknote is 136 mm x 71 mm in size and is signed by Karnit Flug. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
