This note has been in my family with ties to the military. The fold on the top right you see was becuase it was paper clipped to a letter for the last 60 years, never taken off until last week when I discovered it. It’s part of the entire set I have for sale here. The 1966 (commonly / incorrectly quoted as 1960 issue) Qatar & Dubai 10 Riyals banknote (Pick 3a) is a highly rare and historic "first issue" note, representing a brief, unique currency union between the two Gulf neighbors before 1971. Featuring a gray-blue design with a dhow, derrick, and palm tree, it is coveted for its scarcity, aesthetic, and cultural significance.
