This auction is for a 1947 (ND 1950) 1 Dinar banknote from Iraq (National Bank – P-29) graded Very Good 10 NET by PMG (Paper Damage comment). This note is obviously circulated and has the following: very heavy folding and wear (also has heavier creases and areas of wrinkled folding, damaged in many areas); overall staining and darker areas of spot/line/section stains (also has many smudges, many dark and dirty areas, many grease stains, many areas of discoloration, writing in ink); very heavy edge and corner wear (including corners rounded and/or split/frayed/damaged/missing – edges rough/damaged in many areas); very heavy surface wear and fraying (many areas of surface damage and paper loss exist); many edge indents/nicks (multiple tears exist and many are large); multiple holes/inner tears and some are larger; many pieces missing due to heavy wear and damage.
