The Israel 100 New Shekels Banknote was issued by the Bank of Israel in 2017. This orange banknote features poet and playwright Leah Goldberg on its obverse. It also displays an open book in gold-to-green SPARK, almond tree blossoms, and a microprinted poem “In the land of my love the almond tree blossoms.” The reverse features gazelles, poem segments of “White days”, and a menorah. The banknote has a Kinegram Volume holographic stripe and a color-changing windowed security thread with a demetallized 1000 and a portrait of Leah Goldberg. Its watermark reveals Leah Goldberg and an electrotype 100. The note measures 143 x 71 mm and is signed by Karnit Flug. This particular paper bill has been given a grade of 66 by the Paper Poney Guaranty.
