The Oman 5 Rials Banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Oman in 2020 (AH 1441). Its obverse side shows a view of the Sultan Qaboos University in Muscat and a portrait of Sultan Haitham ibn Tariq ibn Taymur as-Said. Its reverse side shows a view of the Royal Opera House in Muscat. The note contains a watermark that reveals Sultan Haitham ibn Tariq ibn Taymur as-Said and an electrotype 5. It also has a color-changing windowed security thread with demetallized Arabic text and 5 Rials. It is 152 x 76 mm in size and is signed by Haitham bin Tarik. It is in uncirculated condition.
