The Afghanistan 50 Afghanis banknote was issued by the Afghanistan Bank in 1979. The banknote has a combination of green and blue. Its obverse bears Arabic text and features the bank seal with horsemen, a pair of cornucopias, and ancient coins. The reverse is in Arabic and English and depicts the Dar-al-Aman Palace in Kabul. The paper bill does not contain a security thread but carries a watermark that reflects the bank logo pattern. It is 134 x 58 mm in size and is signed by Mehrabuddin Paktiawal and Mohammad Kabir. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition.
